i think ppl should use a little slower pace than faster. i see it alot in the gym guys doing bench press at max speed thatīs just stupid. i know that lee trains at slow pace when doing reps but many do it at high pace to lift more weight. i belife that moderate slow pace will help to build more muscle and also help to get the muscle work better

it depends really, like for some exercises I'll tend to focus on really slowing down on the eccentric portion of a movement eg. for concentration curls, skull-crushers and also a for selected chest exercises. I think it's probably good to once in a while slow down on the concentric portion of a movement in an exercise but of course doing it all the time just won't be beneficial IMO

with slow movement youve got more change at overtraining.

personally i do some muscle groups faster than the onther. also i like to swich it up once in a while. when moving faster i can use more weight, but when moving slow it just feels better.

depends on:
the exercise
if faster works for you
if you're training for power or hypertrophy etc

ITS NOT THE WEIGHT ITS HOW YOU LIFT IT!!

or, what my science teacher used to say:
"its not how far you squeeze thru the door, but how far you spit up the hallway!!"

Both have their benefits. As has already been suggested either fior certain exercises, certain muscles or just to swap it around. At the end of the day each offer there own variation on intensity to the muscle you are working, often by allowing you to use more weight than would be possible with the alternative rep speed! Experiment and see which works best!

it depends, its usually best to switch it up, i really dont think its ever a good idea to go really fats while trianing hats just asking for injury. I think a controlled movement is necessary to really focus on the muscle anyway.

As long as you control the weight and can feel the muscle working, it's all preference.

they do damage the muscle more.. but thats only in the excentric fase. so you could try fast up slow down. best of both worlds.
