well guys .. i'm not trying to defent on Jorn T .. but to be honest .. although he has a lot of whore posts but the guy has some great posts regerding training and nutrition .. not to forget u peanut and pumba .. i always like to see ur posts too :)

Your not trying to defend me! I still love you q80!

I really don't see what my post in the misc section have to do with it, you might like them, you might not, I never spam the the training or nutrition section, except one time, but that was like dungeon vs random dude.

Overrated:
any of Uriel's under rated exercises

Underrated
any of his over rated ones, lol, just kidding.

Overrated:
-Flat Bench press (still good, but not the king of all exercise)
-Chest flies
-side laterals
-leg extension

For the most part, i feel all exercises have at least some merrit, and there are FAR more under rated ones than overrated

Underrated
-Olympic lifts (hang cleans will give bad ass traps,imo they may be the best trap builder there is, push press for shoulders/core)
-Rack deadlifts
-Barbell hacksquats
-Lunges/ bulgarian squats
-ab exercises which incorperate the transverse abdominus (decline russian twists)
-Dips
-Board press/ lockouts
-behind the back wrist curls
-any hamstring work
-box squats/good mornings
-decline work (bench press, skull crushers)

^^I believe they're like power cleans but you just hold the bar (or let it "hang") around thigh level instead of starting with it off the floor...as usual, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

Anyway, we got a sticky which contains great sites where you can find any excersize if you don't know one. And you have google....

I do powercleans, maybe I should try these sometime, they just look like they would **** up the elbow. When you drop the weight, you should keep your elbows in a little angle, so the joint don't take the full blow? Just gonna have to find out, anyone has some experience with them?
Oh and the begin, that's what they call a power shrug right? Like a cheat front shrug and instead of catching the bar, just let it drop again?

Hdogg, can you plz explain some more about your list? Your list suprises me, which probably means you right that they are underrated/overrated. It are probably alot of noob questions, but if I ain't gonna ask it, no one is, most people are happy when they know something is overrated/underrated, but I would like to know why!

Why do you think push press is that good? It seems like a cheated militairy press to me? I understand that the extra weight you can use this way is nice in the excentric part and also build a good core, but wouldn't cheating be good in alot more excersises?

Hackquats, what exactly are the advantages of these compared to other squats? Same question for Zercher squats ( I know you didn't list them)

Board press/lockout. I understand that these are great for powerlifters, but why should bodybuilders care about them?

Box squat. There's alot of info around these, but why do you thik there that good? Once again I understand they are great for strength and thus powerlifters, but why for us? And it isn't the full ROM, I though bodybuilders had no business doing just below squats?

Decline work. I thought when you did flat work, the lower part of the chest would develop enough. You never hear people complain that the lowerpart is to little compared to the upper part, but the other way around you hear all the time. (Although I think people whine about upperpart/innerpart development way to soon)

And last: how do incline/decline skullcrushers differ from flat skullcrushers? Doesn't make sense to me, it's not like your tricpes is in another postion is it?



If someone else like to comment, plz do, but I would love to hear Hdogg's answer!

off course u can't .. it was anather BS methods of Flex magazine .. i remember read this when Arnold was explaining that it expand ur rib cage .. i'm kinda WTF ??
