Not knowing specifically but a lot of it comes down to how intense you are training! Whichever one uses the most muscles when doing it will be the one which burns the most calories providing you do it with the same intensity as you would any of the other ones!

nah, from when i remember reading in muscle media not too long ago the treadmill was the best cardio in the gym cuz you are using your whole body, more than a bike where you just use your legs and lower abs. but the best cardio is track sprinting. i did these in the summer and man it really gets to you doing like 3-4 sets of 40 yard dashes. the good thing is it doesnt take long tho.

From the corner of the gym where the BIG men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty-fives, A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees. Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack Chalking his hands and monstrous back, said, "Boy, stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, The trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN'." — DALE CLARK, 1983

I watch what i burn, your right, it is calorie control...

Cus i will like eat one hotdog with ketchup, a glass of milk, maybe a small piece of bread.
i then try to get at most 200 calories off during Pre-work out cardio and then work out to burn the rest.

the more muscles you use the better. whole body movements are best imo.
also you cant say whats a better machine. it depends on what you like and whats the intensety wich you training with. the best way to lose fat when training is with low intensety for about 30-60 mins. also you can try morning cardio on an empty stomag.

I like to work the rowing machine. I work up to a steady pace that gets the heart pumping and the lungs working hard and then maintain that pace for 20+ mins at a time, rather than going for short "burns". But, hey...it's what works for you.

I think it's also important to mix it up a little, to use a variety of methods. It doesn't get stale and boring that way.

The most time i did on a cardio machine was an hour and thirty mins. i burned off 500x2 calories, and now im doing about 30mins on cardio days on the machines, sometime i'll add 16+ mins to get it going better..

I haven't used an eliptical in awhile... i probably should get back used to them.
