went to the gym like always..was ready willing able to do a great chest workout
when i noticed my gut was a little bloated and then before i knew it i started to lose the will to train..today as a fifth day in a row and was planning a two day off rest..but i think i should have kept it to 4days and one day off..

i also need to tan up..that always keeps me focusd..
and i think i need to cover total up on bloating days..dam breads do it to me everytime!!!

does anyone think that on a day off it would be ok to at lest get on the cross trainer or should i just stay away from the gym...

I think a lot of it has to do with how your body reacts to training, I go three days on one day off. I find that if i go to do cardio on my normal day off i feel drained and not near as motovated to workout the next day. So i say you should take your day off it my help bring baack that drive you are lacking.
Hope this helps

why was your gut bloated? what did you eat before, if you feel your workouts are lacking intensity for a while id reccomend a cruising phase where you keep lifting the same intensity and roughly the same frequency but cut way down on the volume.

with me breads cause me to bloat..even if i have some one day and next morning i look bloated or like i have a gut..when leave the breads alone and becareful with milk i can clearly see a faint full abs ...i have had some corn bread for three days..one meal each day and i think that it caused the bloat..
i guess i saw ronnie eat it on one of his vids so i decided to try it..maybe its his off season food...taking tomoorow off from gym..i think i might go and have some lean beef tomorrow..maybe two meals...rest meals chicken.had ben off beef for 9weeks and doing chicken..rice..vegs...maybe i need to do a low carb day???
go back into the gym friday full force and get back into the game!!!

I found when i was feeling a little drained in the gym, that a simple spoonful of glucose poweder to my gym water really perked me up a bit.
I train 6 days on, 1 day off (do an office job so only get one solid hour in the gym so do 45-50 mins weights, 10 min fat burn CV Mon-Fri, abs & 30mins CV Sat).

There are various ways to overcome it...battle through as you are, take some time off, adjust volume, try energy drinks, assess sleep/rest patterns etc.
