I was just watching some Canadian strong man events and amazed me.
They were doing 1100+kg Wheel Barrows pushes and such.

The problem is I would rather like to look like a BB rather then a PL but I would like the strtength of a PL. Is that possible or is there any mix rountine or reps and sets I could do?

From the corner of the gym where the BIG men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty-fives, A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees. Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack Chalking his hands and monstrous back, said, "Boy, stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, The trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN'." — DALE CLARK, 1983

There is a lot of guys that are PL that compete as BB's. Main difference is diet.

It's probably a combination of the 2 - no reason why you can't alternate weeks of mass building. Compound exercies and some iso exercises with reps of 6 - 12, and then do x amount of weeks with a powerlifting routine. Deads, clean and press and stuff with lower reps and higher weight. The variety should help the alternate workouts increase.

Could I still follow my BB diet?

I think that doing it ASWELL as your current training would be too much. I don't think you'd have the strength to give it your all and all the workouts would suffer due to not recuperating enough. If you're going to do a powerlifting routine, I'd do it INSTEAD of your usual one every once in a while!
And always stick with the BB diet!! :)

You can be pretty good as both a BBer and a PLer, but very few people would ever have the genetics to be great in both at the same time.

When you train for strength you focus on basic stuff. They build muscle, yes, but not necessarily in the proportions ideal to a bodybuilder.

When you train for looks you need to add auxiliary exercises to work what the basics don't. This means more volume and less intensity, which isn't the most productive way to gain strength.

Get the picture?

I was just looking at some Power Lifters's physique and it's not that bad and they are insanley strong. I think I might stray over to a PL workout plan but what would a 4 day split routine be?
