iīve been wondering why most of the ppl here takes the easy way out and i mean by that training as hard they used to train in the old days. i want a response from everybody i mean look at ronnie and say that you donīt want to look like that!!!!
thats high volume training that brings him to that level
6-8 reps and couple of sets wonīt get you there. but all i want to say is that look at your self and try high volume if you donīt like it youīre a pussy but i am just saying like it is. high volume is for the big boys and if you wanna be a mammas boy then keep it low volume 3 sets of 6-8 reps and train the whole body once

also think why ronnie is the king and the rest of the bb are not

peace out

riiiiiiiight.
mike mentzer didnt build ANY muscle with his training theories at all did he...
why did he build muscle on his theories? because they WORKED for HIM
obviously high volume works for you
so why shove it down other peoples throats? just because people dont do high volume doesnt mean they are training intensly at all.
this whole sport is about what works best for YOUR body, not a certain training way or technique.
if you dont like lifting plain hardcore heavy weights then maybe you should give it a go. im doing it. why? cause this year i had pretty good results with it! so why change?
and if you dont like high volume then you're a "pussy"?
pffft yeah alright man whatever you say.

i dont and havent trained high volume becuase ive never came to a point where i felt i was making zero progress therefore no need to mix it and try somehting different. you want a response from everybody? well i made a thread named powerbuilding and high volume, maybe you'd like to stop making threads proclaiming one training style to be the greatest of all tiem and help contribute to mine also and help to teach me a little about high volume workouts, seeing as you are one huge mean bodybuilding machine!
and no, EYE dont want to look like ronnie, i want to look like me, i want my body as developed as it can possibly be i dont care about looking like him. high volume brings him to that level: so do alot of drugs.
6-8 reps and a few sets wont bring u up? well they sure as hell have helped me grow!
high volume V 6to8
could very well use a comparison of a marathon runner V a sprinter
next time why dont you check out the size or their legs? sprinter= short fast intesne bursts or anaerobic activity
why wouldnt you want that to be just like your workout?
now EYE'M gonna tell it JUST like it is: YOU are a mummas boy obviously you've neveer trained any other way. 3 sets 6 to 8 train the whole body once? wtf is that who does that apart from ppl who may train only once per week??which i definatly wouldnt call bodybuilders!
now before i go im NOT bagging out ANYbody who does high volume, im NOT bagging out the high volume way of training, im bagging out YOU for being so ignorant to proclaim high volume is the training way of "non mummas boys and pussys". try other ways and you may just shut urself up
and if high volume is the only way to train, then i guess dorian, dugdale, henry, kamali, mentzer, jon davie and others havent trained a day in their life ehy.
ronnie is king because he trains high volume? i woudlnt exactly call it "high volume" but if thats true then he never should have won a title - it should have always gone to Jay " mr. high volume himself" Cutler.

sorry for the long post guys but i had to get this off my chest thank you and have a nice day!

Have to agree with the "everyone is different point. In some peoples eyes, whos's to say HIT style training doesn't take more of a man to do - pushing yourself so hard to get the same results as other people get but need to do more sets for.
Seems to be a bit of a moot point when it comes to training. At the end of the day all you can ever offer are suggestions as to how to train as what works for one might do nothing for the next man (woman!).
No doubt someone somewhere has gained 60lb of solid muscle from doing the Anna Kournikova video. Although, most of that muscle was probably in the brachialis!

lets have little history lesson on the 3 best champions. arnold swcarzenegger sorry if i spell it wrong, he trained high volume and trained his whole body parts 3x, lee haney he trained his bodyparts 2x and coleman also 2x a week and my point is that all ppl should try high volume you would like it. i have tryed alot of things, max-ot,once a week 3 sets 6-8,dorians way and then high volume way and that i like the most.

maybe pussy was out of line but my point is that u guys take the easy way out. then i mean the guys who only train low volume

ok - you like high volume the most
should i make a thread stating low reps heavy weigts is best and trash talk other techniques and styles?
lol u give me 3 guys wow
does that mean dorian is a pussy becuase he doesnt train the way you like?
when it comes to trainin: there is no "easy" way out - no matter which training stlye is your preference! unless you're in the gym bludging (which i hope anyoe o his site isnt), then thers no such thing as an "easy way out". all styles have adantages disadvantages.
i dont go to the gym to have a fun eay time i g to try and bust my ass and workout as had as i can - and atm im not doing that via high volume

how many titles did dorian win? yet some of his bicep workouts took 10minutes! theres "low" volume for u!
just do what works for you, experiment alot, but dont criticize others for training a specific way becuase you dont like it!

I used to do more high volume, but time is often a constraint. Plus, you sort of made my point in your last answer about how you tried all the other things, but found High volume worked for you. So surely, if you'd tried one of the others and THAT wored, you wouldn't have changed! It's all about what works for the individual! I've tried a lot of ways and a lot of splits, I think they all have their merits, and whose to say that when I reach a point in my training High volume won't work for me then? Likewise, it's not unreasonable to suggest that when and if you reach a plateua, chaning to HIT might not kick start your training into another gear too!
Still, I've seen the pics so I can see high volume definately works for you!

theres a difference from 40 years ago and now. im sayin that back then the pros werent all hopped up on juice and HGH like now but im also not sayin that back in the day they didnt use steroids but they dindt have so many chemicals in theyre bodies like the pros do now. maybe thats why they hit each bodypart alot more then you see and hear of the pros these days doing and although you recover quicked with steroids which enables you to train more frequently. just look at how the pros look today compared to when arnold and draper were around. most of the pros now all have big waists but look at arnold and others when they were competing. their waists were paper thin which clearly shows you that they were in a much more healthy state as opposed to now. distended stomachs didnt exist back then cuz there was no abuse of drugs like there is now.
