he always claims bodybuilders can rest up to 6days which seems to much for me so fo me this is the plan...
mon..chest biceps..shoulders
tues cardo
weds back tri legs
thrs cardo
fri chest biceps shoulders
sat cardo
sun off

im trying to lose abit of fat while keeping muscle ...eating clean...
cardo is 50mins
i've lot bad shoulders"two tears in 5 years"..im doing my best with them...legs are not too heavey..trying to shrink them a tad...

should i do a little cardo with my lifting also???

every set to total max...no more the 8reps to set

do you mean cardio with your lifting as in cardio ON ur days?
doing those muscle groups would you have the energy? do a session on sunday or do a morn and evening saturday session rather than after the weights i would anyhow.
have you been doing this long or just started make sure you post how its been going/how it goes for you buddy!

I have no idea how you can get through a back, legs, and tricep workout. If you are pushing yourself hard theres no way you could work all those in 1 day properly

OK why are u hitting chest and shoulders twice a week if you have bad soulders? stay away from barbells and stick with dumbells for chest for shoulders do laterial movements and avoid presse try blood voolumizing with high reps it will give u great shape and shouldnt bug the shoulder to bad bc you wont be able to go to heavy.

Personally i would go every body part once a week but thats me, and i agree with mike in terms of 6 days for rest between same bodypart workouts.

Thanks n Godbless

i just read an article yesty about a similar test to the colarado exp. they did 1 mentzer style full body workout and monitored evereything over 2 weeks (body comp and the like) at 6.6 days the body peaked and the calculations figured were that if gains were constant and u trained every 6.6 days u could theoretically put on between 50-150 pounds in 1 year!. sounds like crap to me but hell, im about to go back into athletics so im gonna train every 6th day and giv it a crack.
Also if ur gonna go mike style, read up as much as u can, he'd shoot you if he knew u wanted to train the same bodypart 2X p/w.
good luck and make sure u post ur results! i know i will be
