For the most part thats in your head. Youl loose muscle size way before you lose muscle strength. i took a good month off to let my back heal and even when i came back and i was injured i wasnt as strong as b4 but i was only a week or 2 worth of training off from where i was at but at the same time i was like 20 lbs lighter. and i still havent got my size all the way back im like 227 use to be 242 but my bench seems to have only gotten stronger. Shoot the hardest part of coming back from a lay off is getting back into the rut of your daily routine. The endurce you had will come back, how quickly it comes back is all up to u. u hit it hard and id say for ever month u take off it will take u two weeks to get the endurce back that u lost.
now geting size back was more difficult for me bc having lifted so heavy for so long my natural test production was really up their and i was eating 8 times a day. (that includes protein shakes.)
What im trying to say is that every body is different and who knows u might come back from the lay off and have set your body up for massive growth just bc u gave your muscles a vacation for a while u know. Dont be worried about what your gonna lose in the lay off be glad that it should be good for your body to relax for a while, and just realize that if u take a month or more off once u get back into the swing of things, a week or so after u get backinto the gym thats its time to hit that iron. thats my only advce to u.
Good luck and enjoy the relaxed time away from the gym
Godbless
