what do you guys think i do the common chest tri's, back bi's , shoulders traps, legs but the exercises i always switch it up i keep it like 4 to 3 exercises each muscle group and 3 sets 8-12 reps. Is that alright ? should i stick to the same exercises or is that right to switch it up?im only asking cause i seem to hit a plateau

Sounds good to me. Could be a number of reasons you've hit a plateau. Not enough sleep. Not enough protein or/and carbs.
Maybe switching it around too much. Personally I try and stick to a set of exercises for as long as they are working (often change the weight & rep range though and maybe pyramid or force reps to mix it a little) then when my progress strats to slow, then I'll change it.
I think that by changing things around too often too quickly you don't give yourself a chance to actually improve at anything. Just my opinion. Obviously, different things work for different people!

well man.. being natural your gonna have your plateus.. i suggest you stick with one routine for 3 months then switch it up after that.. youll see better results this way.. and if your pushing to the last rep that your muscle can handle and feeling the burn about 24 hrs later, then your doing a good job

Don't just go by the muscle being sore alone. There are a lot of factors to gauge your progress. Some muscles are quite small and therefore quite difficult to really get sore all the time but that doesn't mean you aren't improving.
If you are adding a little weight to the bar each time you train - that's good.
Or adding one more rep or two than last time with the same weight - that's good.
If you are keeping your diet stable, then checking your weight every couple of weeks - if you've gained a pound or two then that's progress.
And above all - check the mirror. t the end of the day we're "bodybuilding" not weightlifting - how much you put on the bar is irrelevant if you look like shit!
Just stay consistent and focussed and you'll get there. If something isn't working - change it. If it is - keep doing it. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want.
I'd keep it easy!!
Good luck man! Keep us updated on your progress.
Start a log in the log section - then you can get some feedback and ask for advice as you train - that way people can see what you're doing and advise you better!

if you have been keeping everything the same as in training eating and sleeping then definatly switch up your routine
try something different like lower reps/intensity techniques for every set for a week then return to your normal program/ push every set/try some exercises you havent done before or havent done for a long time
but like rocky said dont change everything around too often because you wont gain in antyhing i can personally vouch for that and now i know better and make sure i milk all the exercises dry before switching them around, if that makes sense
