I work out , but my schedule conflicts my time. I work 3 days , 3nights , and get 3 days off. Also 12 hour shifts. For right now i work out 3 days a week, but do yall think it hurts for me to switch on my 3rd day to stayin up nights, like i get off on my 3 rd day at 7pm , eat watch tv , and go to sleep around 11pm , until about 9am, get up eat and cook and usually take a nap from 12-4pm , then work nights 7pm - 7am

i work out 3 x week , day on , then day off , then day on , then day off and day on and 2 days off , but sometimes to fit my work hours i do a day on , and take 2 days off and then again. My question is though on shift change will it affect me , like going from day to nights??

Working at night will most definetly make things A LOT harder. You absolutely NEED proper sleep, and when your sleeping times are always changing you don't get that much of it. Sleep is possibly THE MOST IMPORTANT part of growth, it's crucial that a bodybuilder has his always in check. (Ever wondered why a baby sleeps most of the day? And ever wondered how they can grow to over twice their original size in less than a year? See a pattern?)

Uriel's right, good amount of sleep is necessary. I guess it's difficult for you to establish a regular sleeping/workout pattern, but, whatever the case you shouldn't workout at a time of day when you are feeling tired and you need to ensure you get the right amount of sleep for recovery. So, unless your situation changes, it seems that some weeks you'll only be able to workout twice.

Providing you get enough sleep and enough energy food inside you before you train. Training at different times of day can be beneficial for the same reasons that you need to change your routine every now and again - it keeps your body guessing.
