decline bench press would put more stress on the lower half of your chest... you cant really isolate any part of your chest though.

Do standard dips but leaning into them is a good way of hitting more the lower part of your chest. Samir Bannout swore by them!

try dips, declines, and flate press, with barbell and dumbell, and which ever you feel the most hits your lower part the most stick with that excersice as a first one, everone can reccommend excersises but everyones structure is different then your, so give em a try and start developing some boobies!!

Cable crossovers. Trust me, you don't want to use lower chest-specific mass builders (decline pressing) on a regular basis.

I trust you. But why not? I can understand that the human body isn't build to perform heavy ass lifting while somewhat upside down (thus more blood floats towards brain). But is this really bad?

No, simply because your lower chest will grow too fast, and it'll look like boobs instead of pecs.

Are you going for mass of the lower region or just toning up? If you want to tone up then I would suggest using DB's, but only doing them every two weeks, not every week. You dont want to develop a "sagging" look on your chest. If i remember right coleman does decline movements every 2-3 weeks. so, there is no need to do them every week. And i do agree that cable crossovers would be a good workout too. but if you do crossovers do them every week if you want. just try both and see what happens.

if u have softtissue at ur lower pecs it means that there is a little fat there. so all u gotta do is burn more calories than u consume and it should slowly dissapear. remember its better to loose fat slowly than to go to extreems and end up burning muscle.just be patient and u'll see the results.if it aint hard when u flex its fat.

Could be water, too. I get a lot of water in my chest, even with a full six pack it's still a little soft sometimes.
