Beginner's workout routine

am a newb when it comes to workouts/splits, please critique my split, and add anything that i might be missing. thx in advance.




MONDAY (10 minutes of some type of cardio before workout)

body part exercise sets reps

Chest

Incline Press 1set 10-15 reps
Bench press 3 sets 10-12 reps
Bench press 3 sets 10-12 reps

Tris

Close Grip BB press 3 sets 10-12 reps
Skull Crushers 1-2 sets 8-10 reps

Biceps

BB Curls 1-3 sets 10-12 reps
DB Curls 1-3 sets 8-10 reps

WEDNESDAY (10 minutes of some type of cardio before workout)

Back

DB Rows 1 set 10-15 reps
Tbar rows 1-3 sets 10-12 reps
DeadLifts 1-2 sets 8-10 reps

Shoulders

DB Press 1 set 10-12 reps
DB side raises 3 sets 10-12 reps
BB upright rows 3 sets 10-12 reps
shrugs 1-2 sets 8-10 reps


FRIDAY (10 minutes of some type of cardio before workout)

Quads/Hams

DB lunges 1 set 10-15 reps
deadliftes 1-3 sets 10-12 reps
BB squats 1-3 sets 10-12 reps

Calves

Seated Calf Raises 1 set 10-15 reps
Calf Raises 3 sets 10-12 reps

Routine is looking good! What about some type of flye added into your chest/tri day? LOL @ your sig, that is really nice of you Mac4, thanks. :)

same as back maybe you can add something like lat pulldowns to get some wide...

looks like a good split for 3 days. If you can spare another day, you could allocate a seperate day for Back and Biceps. This would allow you to do more sets for your exercises ie. 3-5.
