whats up dungeon,

So ive always wondered why I hate doing legs when it comes to that day.. Ive

always done what most bbd do, train chest, back etc then wait to hit legs later

in the week, well I had a problem with this because when it came to that day

my ass was just tired and warn out from the heavy lifting in the beginning of the

week, so ive decided to put legs first in my schedule, its been 2 weeks now and

let me tell you its making a world of a difference in my training, my legs are being

hit harder then ever before and my workouts are amazing, i find my upper body

workouts are way stronger and more intence when I train legs on monday. Just

thought that I would share this, if anyone is having the same problems as these

I suggest you try this out, you will be amazed what a difference it makes.. Peace

p.s. my workout looks like this

Monday- Quads
Tuesday-back
Wed-chest
thursday-shoulders, calves
friday- arms, hams

I know sometimes its so damn hard to put those legs in the front of the workout.. but man its paying off for me big time.. hope this helps someone.

have you ever thought about switching back and chest day? since you kind of use your back on leg day, you may be able to recover a little more, getting an extra day off. and same with chest/shoulders. i just noticed that and thought i would mention my opinion. let us know how your gains are with squat. good luck!

That sounds great, I think I will do that, train legs on monday that is. Hey vdawg, I also throw in partials at the end of my presses and squats, it kicks my ass but I feel that it really pounds them into growth. Anyone else have any opinion on partials at the end of a workout? Too much or just right?

I hate squats so much - they make me physically sick to do them intensely (which in my opinion is the only way to train them) which is a bit of a buggar seeing as they are so important! Will try doing them first in my routine aswell. Doesn't anyone else live in fear of doing squats and getting to leg day? Someone give me some motivational tips! I know how important squats are and am convinced that not doing them is hindering me. (although I'm not doing them because I haven't got the equipment to, not cos' I'm scared...honest!)

Do you belong to a gym or do you train at home? because here you say you dont have the equipment.. i suggest you join a gym man, as for motivation.. just think of it this way, if you dont squat nothing else will grow.. think of it as a priority for a full body development. its actually proven that doing squats raises natural testosterone levels in the body.. Squat no matter how hard it is to get used to.. suck it up for a bit..

hey rocky i feel the same way man squat is usually wednesday after chest and back but starting next year im doing them first things on mondays just to get them over and done with and at 100% intensity and effort. but seriously how do you guys love doing them? i cant stand them really. usually get either squats or presses out for my first exercise and then start to feel sick usually and want to throw up nearly every leg day. serbmarko have you noticed any differences in ur quads or just the gained weight so far?
