today I started with the flat bench and I felt pretty good.I did 1 set of 185 for like 12 reps to warm up. then I did my 2 set with 225 for another 12 reps.and my last set was 275 for about 4 or 5 reps.. I thought after putting that up I would have a great work out but when I got to my other chest and tricep exercises I was fucking shot I had no modivation and I felt my all of my strength was gone in the middle of my reps my muscles just gave up on me.I ate some carbs before my work out to give me energy but it really did not seem to help.. could I posible be over training?? I used to only work out 3 to days a week. but for about 3 weeks now I have been training about days a week and I think its wearing me out...

this is my work out

chest/tricep
biceps
shoulders/back
legs/forearms

sometimes I work on one muscle a day..

Try drinking a cup of coffee before your workout, that should help.

Also, if you feel really unmotivated, why not train only on machines? It's a bit strange as a piece of advice, but I find it works for me.

I often find that I wipe myself completely out on my first exercise If I really go for it. I have to try and cram in 3 muscle groups per session aswell! Unless time is a major issue, try a little bit longer rest period between sets, not too much, but just enough to get yourself together a bit more! Or try doing 1 really heavy exercise per muscle and a couple of lighter higher rep ones. Good to mix it up a bit anyway! Just a thought.

I have never drank coffee before a work out..but I have heard that is a good thing to do to give you that extra energy..that is also a great idea to only train on machines..I will deff do that the next time I feel unmotivated..thanks man..

yeah I think that is what I do..I give it my all for that first exercise.and for the rest of my work out I feel like I have nothing left..I try and rest for about 2 to 3 min sometimes alittle longer..its funny some muscles I can do heavy sets and I seem like I can go forever but other muscles like my chest gets tired fast..thats probably beacause I do the most weight with my chest though..

Try one of the isotonic high carb drinks just before you train (and during) - gives me a bit of extra energy!

It takes a good amount of time before you officially hit overtraining. So I think it's safe to rule that out.

Try not to eat within an hour of working out though, it will tire you out during the course of your workout...
