What are dumbbell squats?

If the weight is below your waist you're deadlifting man.

This exercise looks real stupid man, not recommended. Too much energy spent getting dumbbells in place and chances of shoulder injury are high. Plus how are you supposed to go heavy? There's no way anyone is getting 100s up there.

Unless you're recovering from an injury and need to go feather light, I recommend you stick with classic barbell squats, in rack.

If you want to put on mass and strength. then use the BB, hands down. I think the only difference would be that w/ DB's you'd get a forearm and shoudler workout too.

PS - I've only seen girls do this, never guys lol im j/k. whatever you can do

I know what you mean, but you can get a pump doing anything. You can get a pump off of doing body squats

I cant really say they are useless. I just think that since you are able to go heavier in squat w/ the BB it would be more beneficial to you.

hey no problem. i think if your going for fitness then you should use DB's. but if you want mass, im assuming you do??, then use the BB.
