I have a rather large waist..the sides of my pelvis bone kind of stick out..I'm worried if training my obliques is going to widen my waist even more but then again i want (after i finish bulking and cut) to have those lines that go from the side and downward to the dick because they look pretty good. anyone here in the same situation..what did you do and how did it work out for you?

While you're cutting, add 500 seated twists to every workout.

Use a broomstick instead of a barbell and get a max stretch.

Should you (people in general) train obligues at all? Cus I also heard that training them would make your waist more wide and not give you that V shape. Why train them if their bad for your overall shape?

I don't even think abs are worth training, let alon obliques. It's good to do them once in a while, just throw in a set or two of sit ups to failure maybe once a week

why wouldnt you train abs? I do agree that working obliques is pointless.
