I was curious as to what time most of you prefer to train at?
And what the advantages and disadvantages would be at certain times?
Thanks.

I perfer to lift either at like 5am or 9pm. The main reason is that there are less people there at these times so it eliminates most of the down time between exersises

i like to train about an hour after i get up. your testosterone levels are highest when you wake up so by training when test level is higher. that means more gains

I train from 15:30 to 16:30 because then I can make one of my 6 meals into a post-workout shake.

I have read that it is best to workout between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. I dont have any resources for this but I remember it from somewhere. But, I have also read that it is better to workout about 2 hours after you wake up b/c of your test levels. Personally, I dont see whats so special about lifting from 2-4 but I will admit that I have better workouts when I lift about 2 hours after I wake up. I just seem to have better endurance and just feel the workouts a lot better.

Whenever I can find the time! Between work, running a business, girlfriend, and appointments it’s getting harder to find the time, but yes I still do. Not enough hours in the day.

I eat six times a day, five before I train. Protein shake and last meal after training.

Eli and I have both heard that the reason to lift later in the day is that it gives you more time to warm your body up. If you max first thing in the morning, it takes a LOT longer to warm up than if you maxed in the afternoon. That being said, we still lift early in the morning whenever possible,.

Maybe would make sense strengh wise if that's true, but... the difference can only be minimal if you ask me. As for the argument that the gains would be bigger doesn't make sense at all. U only grow when resting so that would mean after training = evening!

I train mostly in the evening around 6-7.

i didnt mean youll get bigger from that workout. i know that you dont grow when your in the gym. you get a pump but with more testosterone in your body at the time you can more than likely make get better gains but this depends on different people.
