is that really true? so i will have to bann these exercise 'cause i'm doing them...
*i was told that heavy benchpress is good for a massive chest!
*lunges, i've heard, are only good for women because their glutes are a little higher positioned than the male's.
*hyper extension is only a warm up excercise, i think...

and Ive always thought that muscles can only contract.....no matter what excercises someone does!
pleeeze clear me up!

nice knowledge .. but i disagree with lunges .. IMO leg day without lunges is useless .. it's fired up the quads and espieally the glutes

its true i was shocked 2 about this artical but hey the EMG which is a better refrence than bob proved that free weight squats r 1 of best quads exerseises plus i think that 1 of bob weak points r his legs prolly cuz hes afraid 2 squat lol...anyways i want 2 mention something about that link i posted...u no and i no that lunges r 1 of the best but he said something that kinda make sence which is about alternating the legs will b less efective cuz there will b no continous tension on the muscle....so even before i read this artical i think it makes sence cus even for example alternating db curls i think it will b more effective if u do this exersice with both arms at the same time so that its not like u do 1 rep for 1 arm then u rest kinda lone which will decrease the tension...i mean dont ya think..... ......

yeah i was thinking of that .. but didn't u think about doing each leg alone make sence andwould be more effective ?? .. since i started include lunges in my leg workout .. i always do it with 10 continous reps for each leg .. till someone till me that i should altenate between the two legs
