hi

i wondered wether it is necessary to have a decent soreness the days after the workout..?

I only feel sore the next day and maybe one more day..but thats it..is my workout not intense enough, is it an indication that I'm using too much weight and not proper form or what?

thanks

It is an indication of progress in strength as well as other things. Do you want to stay sore all the time?? The stronger a muscle becomes the harder it is to make it sore. A change in added weight resistance, more reps, etc., may make a muscle sore, but sometimes only a little, indicating stress on the targeted area. Too much soreness for too long *may* indicate muscle damage.

I read an article about sorness on bodybuilding.com that said that sorness was compleetly negative and that it ment that you put to much stress on that muscle.

Diddent pay much attention to it tho.

i try to get sore from every workout possible lets me know that i shocked my body which leads as far as i understand - to growth. i mean if you're ot getting sore then you're giving the muslce the same kind of resistance, even if it is different exercises or whatever. do some huge outlandish training scheme for a body part and feel it the next day

Switch up your workout. Your muscles are adapting to your exercises/load you are putting on them. If your seeking sore muscles switch up your workout a little bit.

i think the only time you should get sore is when you change your workout. other than that, i get a little sore after every leg day. more of a tightness than anything else tho.
