I can't train my chest nither my shoulders since i have that injury in my front delt, i just finished my 2 weeks resting time, and basically the pills didnt help much but i feel better, yesterday i went to the gym tried to do chest and i still cant even press any weight at all, the movement itself kills me, but the good side is i can do back, arms, legs, and aerobics?

what do you think guys? should i rest 2 more weeks and let the injury fully heal? or i can train behind it and leave chest and shoulders alone?

thanks bbd.

Yep... listen to the man. Don't train trough injuries. Rest and eat healthy, maybe do some cardio.

man... thats exactly what my friend said... i was hoping you guys would say otherwise, im climbing on the walls without training its so hard for me, a man who used to train almost everyday and now i have to rest 2 more weeks, you guys are sure that if i dont feel any pain i cant train behind it?

because deep inside i know resting would be the best choice but it's just looks impossible for me to sit at home 2 weeks...

I understand you. bro. but look at it this way.. What could you possible accomplish in just 2 weeks time?
And what if something goes wrong and your injury gets even worse than it is now?

Do some cardio then... If it's just the desire to lift heavy weights, then it's more than likely a ego thing. REST! U will come back stronger and better when the injury is healed.

with my cuff tear i had nothing to do for 4 weeks but cardo and alittle legs then 10 weeks lite lifting...the time almost killed me but in the end it was the right thing to do..now im back and now its time to play the game...baby!!!

the only thing i can no longer do because my shoulder wont go back anoth is squats..i have to use the smith machine but i can live with that..so let your injury heal..use this time to plan your workouts and eat eat eat eat!!!!

Is it an injury to both shoulders or just one? You can always do one arm chest press, row, etc. There is some cross over with the muscles. This plus vitamin E has been shown to reduce muscle loss in an immboilized muscle group.

its sounds like youve injured your rotator cuff along with you delt. this is common with people who train using bench presses and military presses. the muscle consists of 4 individual smaller muscles, so if proper form isnt followed its easy to strain or tear these muscles. if your worried about losing strength keep eating a high protien medium carb diet. this will really help keep all your strength. be sure to ice the area at least 3times a day. be sure to rotate your arm in all directions a few times a day to keep range of motion. and i know it sucks but try to avoid doing movements that have ANY connection with your delt, its hard, but even heavy bicep curls can extend the time of recovery. try pushups before you start heavy benching again. look at it like this, its the perfect time to develop your midsection and lower body.
good luck!!

yeah man, thats what i thought, i stopped looking at the down side and started thinking about this as a good time to develop my lower body more and do more abs...

trying to keep my diet with high proteins and i lowered the carbs of course since i dont train the same as i did...

hope to get better and feel like new in 2 weeks.

banshee, its only 1 shoulder, and i really hate doing only 1 arm exercises or half body its frustrating.
