cardio for cutting

i'm starting to cut right now, and i wanted to get some new cardio/conditioning exercises. i never really did cardio before, and am just starting now. i'll do interval training on the track, the rowing machine, or the stair master. I want to lose bf and maintain my strength. any tips?

yeah i know thats a big thing for cardio, but i wanted to try something different. i was looking at rope undulations, and other upper body conditioning.
