that was horrible form, deadlifting with a rounded back is a no-no. Puts way too much stress on the ligaments and tendons. As pain said, get a little lower, drive with the legs and keep your back straight. You WILL pull more weight this way. Keep up the hard work!

Horrible form even? anyways my back wasn't rounded it might look like that as I sometimes a bad habit of leaning over the bar to much.
But I do need to get a little lower and use my legs a bit more :)

Ethos advice from the T-Nation article has really helped me :16:

About half way up the pull I can see your back round, I would know I used to pull the exact same way, hips high, and my back would end up rounding. I showed a video and this was pointed out to me. I changed my form a bit and now I start the pull with my hips a lot deeper.

I am not trying to be an ass, just trying to help out.

I do my deadlifts just like you man. I don't know though, when I do deadlifts I do them more for my back then my legs so my form is similar to yours but I do it like that to maximize the use of my back as opposed to legs.

If you watch Dorian Yates' video Blood and Gutes you'll even notice he doesn't touch the ground when he does his DLs and also uses I would say 70% back 30% legs, same goes for Ronnie in his vid(cept he comes all the way to the floor).

I guess it depends on what your doing the deadlifts more for, back or legs.

Anyways, nice strong lift bro!

Whenever I would max or go heavy on deads, I would position myself with the bar touching my shins, the lean way over the bar with my ass as low as I could get it. Then, just before I would lift, I would rock back just enough so that my shins were still in contact with the bar, but if I were to let go, I would fall backwards. It takes some getting used to, but it puts you in the correct position. It also works well for heavy cleans.

One thing i remember that helps me w/ technique is: think of it as though you are pushing through the floor. It helps you keep the weight on your heels and not your toes, which is a bad habit a lot of people have w/ deadlifts. Since your leaning over the bar, your weight is probably on your toes. Try and pay attention to that next time, it helped me out a lot.
