Many will disagree with me, but I always recommend only lifting three times a week, for no more than 45mins each session. If you want to do arms, legs or anything else on every day, please feel free. I think you NEED the rest after a workout and it is pointless to go the next day right after. If you want a good idea of a split check out my training log called "Perfect Insanity" I am going to start posting again in it tomorrow. You can train however you like, high volume, high intensity, high frequency, or vice versa, just make sure you rest the day after lifting. |
