Cardio works best done on a empty stomach because thats when you body's glycogen stores "food energy" are at the lowest, so instead of using food energy it burns fat for energy and also the food you do eat is better utelized as energy. Best times to do cardio is first thing in the moring before breakfast and after weight training.

IronMan23 have you read anything at all?

i wouldnt ever do cardio first thing without eating anything... thats crazy for me.

and who told you that your' body will use the fat? as i know our body will prefer using some proteins from ur overdeveloped muscles instead... so basically hmm yar wrong but ok.

If you wanting to do cardio first thing in the morinng on an empty stomach, your body is going to burn alot of fat but also take a bite out of your muscles. If you can, start taking in proteins that have BCAA's to protect your muscles. Try HDT pro blend 55 before you go to sleep. It has a good amount of BCAA's. Cardio on an empty stomach in the morning can get you cut faster.

absolutely, as the primary system for weight lifting would be anerobic glycolysis (carbohydrates). Never workout on an empty stomach. I usually have a small meal 90 minutes before.
