I know the common thing to say is just put it first, but I was thinking of doing this:
Monday- shoulders,traps,abs
Tuesday- legs,calves
Wednesday- off
Thursday- chest,triceps,calves
Friday- back,biceps,abs
Saturday- off
Sunday- off
Just a thought that I had to bring up my shouder strength and then hit the chest. Been training for 3.5 years and can barely do 225

A weak chest can be genetic or lack of proper form. How many sets and reps do your do for chest? Do u use forced reps?

Hey bro, don't sweat it, it's not all about doing high poundages. If you're worried becuase of weight, I woulnd't be worried as much as I would for having a massive chest. 90 lb. db presses is good, so don't be ashamed of your poundages. Good luck to you. I would also recommend keeping your chest first in the week and first in the workout if it is your lagging muscle group. You want it to get the freshest blood and be nice a fresh to give it a good pounding. Good Luck.

Never understood that theory!

Why should training your weakest bodypart at the beginning of the week be better? I train each muscle every 5th day now and I don't get weaker or less hypertrofi. I used to train chest at the beginning of the week but that didn't help much. I think it's another myth.

Well not really^^ I guess it just depends on what works for you. And it would kinda make sense to do benches before tricep extensions. Plus your CNS is a little tweaked after you first workout, so it would make sense to do the weakest muscle first while everythings fresh. Just my 2 cents.

A better way to look at it is that usually the first bodypart that week is just after a rest day. Try doing heavy chest after a heavy leg day, or after a day off, and see which one you get a better workout in. Also, hows your post workout nutrition? That could be a huge factor if you are stuck.

The first 2 days went good, wed. off then its chest, tricep day. I feel with routine above it will strenghten my shoulders and help my bench. As for nurtin. I get about 300g of protien and 80g of carbs a day I'm cutting and doing cardio 5 days a week and I know its not all about the weight but I've been stuck with 225 for 6 months
5 reps. and 1 and half gallons a day of water and 40g of glut. and some creatine. and multi vit. and fish oil with zma.

80 grams of carbs a day is your problem. Up this and I promise you your bench will go up!

It could also be your training. Maybe your overtraining or training with too much volume.

By the way, people often let their ego get in their way of lifting properly! If u are a bodybuilder, than go for 10-8 reps (6 minimum). The weights are only a means to an end.

U could try go a little lighter and up the carp intake.

You said you are cutting also. Its very hard to gain strength while on a cutting diet. You can either build muscle, or lose fat, but its hard to provide the correct environment for both (as you are seeing).
