i saw this in one of those bodybuilding vids..the cable row was used..by laying down and bring short bar up to waist...i've done this before and at first figured it was stupid until today when i tried it..man my traps felt every rep..

i think it was on one of the battle videos.....but did'nt catch the name for it..does anyone know???

no, i used a smaller but not totally straight bar..i believe it was shawn ray that i saw doing it..

i brought it slighty above that with 75ibs and as weights got heavier i could only go as far as waist...but i did'nt use foot rest that i'd use for rows..i did what he did..i used center spot to put feet..and it worked great!!!

That's the best exercise in my opinion for traps. I take a long bar, pick up the cable bar from behind my back and move forward about two feet, then I shrug the shit out of my traps and it works great. I feel fiber stimulation all over and not just in my top traps like when I use DB's for shrugs. I don't even use the barbell anymore cuz it really fucks up my upper neck and spine if I do it behind the back. And the barbell in front shrugs don't do shit so I don't even waste my time. Hope it helps.
