diet and cardio will bring out the abs and get rid of the oblique fat but here is a link for some ab workouts

working your abs and obliques is going to make your muscles bigger but not burn fat around that area theres no such thing as spot training meaning if you do your abs you wont lose fat from your abs if you do your chest your not going to lose fat from your chest etc..

the best way to get rid of that fat is though a proper diet and cardio,
there are many diets and helpful hints in the nutrition section.

On top of all that im not a fan of working the abs and obliques directly i believe that it is an ineffective way to build the muscle groups,
also if you do train your abs/obliques to much like i said they will get bigger and start to push out which can give the illusion of a belly if your wearing a t shirt even though you might have a ripped 6 pack.

Most people through just walking around and being able to stand up will have big enough abs to been seen as long as your body fat is reasonably low.

You cannot spot reduce.

As hard as you try, you will not get satisfying results. You can target those muscles to densen the muscle belly and increase blood circulation, and so on, but lipolysis is rare to be found in one place unless you give it similar, illusive effects.

Bottom line: if you're cutting, you will see a difference in oblique and abdomen retainment. No shortcuts, my friend.

i said the same thing but not so much info as you did
but to address the other part of the question on ab works, i posted a link so he can at least know some ab exercises what will help bring out some size in the abs,, yes?

Yea sorry mike i didnt mean to say ab training is useless but we all know squats,deadlifts,clean and jerks have been proven to give 100-300% the stimulation to the abs and obliques as direct work so from my point your better off building some tree trunks and a massive back and getting an ab workout thrown in but thats just my point of view

yes that my be moro, but you can still work those muscles to further define them, you can cut all you want and you will see the ab muscles but for them to stand out and have that muscular appearance you still need to train them, just my thoughts anyway,

yea i understand , it seems like working the abs is`nt something you see in many of the training posts, i feel personally that training abs in a educated manor like you would any other body part will enhance the look of the abs,,
