he guys i was thinking that some is wrong with the record...lol...i mean i was tought that the best mass builders r the heavy compound movments and i found 1 mistake...well its not a mistake but thats wut i think...lesson 2 this...i read and heard alot u prolly u 2 that barbell curls r the best mass builder for biceps but if u think about it its not really a compound movment unless u r cheating with your lower back which is not bad at some points...and they claim that close grip bench press is the best mass builder for triceps and its a pure compund movment...i mean u r not only moving your forarms like u would do on extensions...anyways wut i want 2 say is that a mass biceps exersice should b a copund movent and that movment would b a CLOSE REVERSE GRIP BARBELL ROWS...i mean dont u think...am not trying 2 say that barbell curls r bad but if everybody claim that they r the best mass builder because u can handel more wight cuz u can cheat than u can also claim that a standing barbell extention is a the best mass builder cuz u can cheat...my point that am saying if CLOSE GRIP BARBELL PRESS is the best mass builder for triceps then the CLOSE REVERSE GRIP BARBELL ROWS should b the best mass builder for biceps i mean u can hadell twice the wight the u do on bb curls and u would keep up with the same wight that u do for close grip press..i mean when u do it u only have to focuse on bringing youe forearms to touch yor biceps and squzee it hard without contracting your back muscles as u r trying 2 focus on your biceps.....i hope u got my point and tell me wut yaaa think...

I agree with you 100%, I don't even train my arms anymore for that reason. Back work is the best way to hit you biceps with heavy weight.

I agree with all of you in a lot of points, however. I feel more muscle fiber stimulation when I am doing decline triceps extensions compared to close grip bench presses. I feel that doing close grip BP puts a lot of stress on my front delts and chest still, so I'm not getting the most out of my exercise. I like to do a compound first, like the bench press, and then branch it off, I'll do flyes next, triceps extensions next followed by front dumbbell shoulder raises. So I'm isolating the primaries and the secondaries after a basic compound movement

No, doing arm work is not a must... However, I think it would be foolish to settle for just compounds for your arms. If your doing a back exercise, and then do shrugs, why not hit your biceps as well to give them all an even workout? I won't do as many sets for arms, but I always make sure to hit them up with at least 2-5 sets.

u c thats my point if u do close grip underhand pullups or pulldows it will mostly hit the biceps and doing it with a barball like a close reverse grip rows should hit mostly the biceps and this exersice should b considered the mass builder and not the bb curls cuz bb curls r a singlr joint exersice......and deadlifts donot hit the biceps but if u do it with a reverse grip b barfull cuz it might put strain on your bicepa and u could tear it....

yeah i heard that too .. if you do deadlift with reverse hand .. it might be put stress on the bi's .. and the the closer you're hand the more you're hitting the biceps

i didnt say that u shouldnt train biceps...i ment that that the CLOSE REVERSE GRIP BARBELL ROWS is the exersice that should b considered the mass builder for biceps and not the barbell curls cuz the CLOSE REVERSE GRIP BARBELL ROWS is a compond exersice and u can also focuse on your biceps if do it with a close revese grip and rally squeaze your biceps...look at it just like the bench press if u do it with a close grip it will work more the triceps....i hope that u understand my point i ment that prolly u could include the CLOSE REVERSE GRIP BARBELL ROWS in your bicep routine in addition 2 a couple of more exerse like dumbell curls and so on...tell me wut u think HDOGG...i hope that u understand my point...

i suggest to go heavy with dips .. even the same with close ynder hand pullup .. i didn't faced any risk with going heavy with close bench .. i didn't put my hand so closer to togther .. just little narrower than my shoulder width
