I usually try to rest my chest around 1-2 days at the most. If your supplementing well with things like glucose or anything else to help you recover then why wait that long to rest. I mean it really doesnt matter what your pushing out at the end of your workout. I do a couple of GOOD burnout sets on wedsnday, but that doesnt stop me from hittin it again on friday just as hard. If your not supplementing anything you might need to try something cause 4-5 days rest is just too much if your into bodybuilding. Are you a powerlifter?

im pushing my chest to the max...i've always liked doing whole chest one sitting..upper..lower..wide ..center..some cable flys on bench..which my chest gets pumped but i had noticed when i let it rest 5days it flattens down abit..
should i toss biceps in with chest or triceps?
i normal put biceps and tri's on one day by them selfs...

if your chest flattens down after only 4 days, there's something wrong with your diet.
