Depends on your goals and your genetics. I do my triceps with my chest and my biceps with my back (push / pull, chest and tri's push, back and biceps pull,) this way I only workout those muscle groups once per week. Or you could do the exact opposite if your arms a lagging. Chest with bi's and Back with tri's, this way your arms are getting hit twice per week.
To answer your last question... Yes most of it is just hype, just find the right schedule that works for you and stick with it, and change it up once you stop growing from that schedule. |
