Definitely depends on the individual. Frequency, upon other factors is factor for specific hypertrophy. Although, some like me, adapt well without that. Volume, load, etc. needs to be adjusted to the individual.
So hopefully split training will give you the results you want. Your revised split looks good, give it a try and make sure you're training heavy, appropriate rep counts and killing the food.
