Yeah alright man cool, cool. I'll try to keep it faster, but if it's too fast I can't get all the food down. 4 day weekend though now for me so I'll be hitting 4000 calories a few times I'm sure.

Also do you need to worry about grouping up a meal or can I have a can of tuna now and some veggies in a half and hour and some peanuts in 20 minutes?
I used to be a slow eater. But then I started taking the wonder supplement Fork

It has many disadvantages. Once you start eating your body starts to digest and absorb nutrients which triggers your satiety signals in the brain. So you are less likely to finish a meal and feel hungry when you take longer than about 15mins to eat a meal. Also these triggers are what controls digestive enzyme levels and gastric emptying. So you can end up with food that isn't fully digested (stomach upset, heart burn, all related to this) passing through.

Another thing is that digestion itself is a long process and can take 4-7 hours for one meal to be fully processed (24-36hrs to pass all the way through as far as absorption goes). So eating slower won't really change the rate at which nutrients hit the blood stream. That is down to how easily digested and assimilated the foods are. THis is why whey is so good PWO and why you only should have EAA pre workout.

I have little sense of hunger or satiety. Not none but they are highly abnormal.

Great info Tim.

I'm never hungry anymore usually, unless I go about 3 hrs of no eating. My absorption rate is so high, which is good...for me. Mike 4kcals is for pussies, 5kcal or go home > me and Freak's words of ectomorphism.

Sounds like a challenge? Haha I might be able to get 6000 no promises, but let's see. I'm not an ectomorph, I'm I guess you'd say an ecto-mesomorph. I can both gain and lose weight relatively fast.

And I agree great info Tim, I was wondering why I ALWAYS get painful stomach cramps type things.

Alright I'm not feeling lazy today so time to go back through and reread all this stuff and write it down for future reference.

First, Kev a few questions about stuff you've wrote. So say DOMS is caused by slow negatives, is the reason for this that you're subjecting the muscles to greater amounts of weight than they have ever or can now handle? Also could you go more in depth to what poor conditioning means?

Sacrolemma I just googled that and nothing came up what does it mean?

Wow I can't find what the phosphagen system is either, I have a basic idea, but nothing more.

"The burn is caused by a drop of the pH of the blood drops when oxygen is not present."
^ I've heard it's caused by lactic acid, the drop of pH, and the muscles not being able to oxidate. Could you explain?

So being that biceps are the fastest recovering muscles does that mean that I can hit them three times a week. If I needed to I'd do less after not seeing results, but do you think it'd work better just for them??

Anaerobic glycolysis- Here's what I think it is, anaerobic, so not using oxygen. Using glucose for energy without the use of oxygen? Does glycolysis usually use oxygen to get glucose for energy??

How do you become ATP depleted?

So i better be damn sure I can get that last rep on a compound before trying for it huh? Don't want extra stress on my CNS and lead to over training. I thought that in powerlifting if you really overload the muscles well and fail of heavy reps that would strengthen the muscles?

BIG ONE- "This involves myofibril and sacroplasmic intracellular activity. He has the main idea, stating "recruiting new fibers, etc". However it involves rep count as well."

Could you explain, because if I need to take less or more time between sets that's very very important!!

BIG ONE HERE- I've heard a website and Zir say that ATP lasts less than 10 seconds, but I've heard KM say it lasts longer. Clarification please?

OK here's all my questions from Kev's first two post lol. Lots of questions I know.

Thanks a lot everyone for helping!

So it's like a chain type reaction? One happens then another and another?

Yeah I guess you could put it like that. lactic acid increases which causes a drop in the pH = pain.
