Losing stomach fat whilst weight gaining / muscle training

Hey,

Im trying to lost fat on my stomach to gain defintion, im finding this difficult atm as im trying to go from
height - 5 ' 8
weight - 10st 6 (65kg i believe)

to

12 st (76 kg)


anyways, my diet mainly totals up to around 3000-4000 calories per day, mixed with protein/carbs.

my current ab work out is brief but effective,

20 ankle reaches on both side
20 normal crunches
20 full crunches
i repeat this circuit once more and do my main targer *chest / arms etc* then have a break to do them again.

I also do oblique crunches on the bench with a 10kg weight + doing leg lifts which i do 2 x 20, after each workout for my abs i go on the oblique roller i thnk its called and do around 3 x 10.

im trying to stay away from cardion atm, as my metablisim is unbeliveably fast lol.

any ideas on how to lose this fat on my stomach, without dieting or cardio?

The only way to lose fat is through diet and cardio. Spot training doesn't work and doing abs will only make you look fatter. Get a clean diet and do some cardio and you'll be happy.

i think i'll eat more but try to eat less fat hopefully that will help compensate a bit :)

gringo, by saying that doing abs will only make you look fatter, do u basically mean that since ur abs will be pumped, they will distend slightly, therefore giving the illusion that you have a fatter stomach than you really do?

yeah spot training doesn't burn fat in the areas like people think. If you work abs they will grow but if you're not burning the fat off the top then they will just push the fat out more and give you the appearence of being fatter. But if you trained them and had a good diet and did cardio then the fat would come off and the abs would show nicely.

It's just like if you had fat arms and did nothing but build them. Sure the muscle would get bigger but you wouldn't have a cut looking arm, you'd just have big bulky ones.

ill just bulk up til im 76 k then cardio with muscle build.

then when im toned ill bodybuild again :)

Its probably going to be better for you to bulk then cut. You'll probably gain fat on a bulk anyways with the massive calorie intake you should have whilst on a bulk. Great advice from gringo though. |I love this site already ^^

yea i'venoticed i gain a lil bit of fat at times.

my current fat count is 8.7% lol

yea, i dont get it like tbh, i have a fair bit of fat on my stomach and chest, they just dont seem to shift :)
