try out HIIT(high intensity interval training) how it works is you jog for a min or so than you full out sprint for 30 seconds and than jog again and than sprint and it just keeps repeating, do that for about 15 min and it will burn fat for hours after you are done running.

alright, if you want to minimize muscle losss, try out LI(light intensity) cardio, you will burn the fat slower, but the muscle loss will be minimal if none.

HIIT for the win.

The muscle loss compared to fat loss with this type of training is minimal as well. This is in your best interest if your goal is fat loss. If you are bulking, light cardio is the way to go, HIIT literally incinerates fat but its tough. It's worth it, you'll see results fairly quickly, within a couple weeks; much better than jogging.

Well to answer that I need to ask something, do you have a resistance setting on your cross trainer?

If you do use the easiest setting for about 2 mins then GO BALLS TO THE WALL FOR 2 mins, increase your time as you get better..

Have fun
