Right now I'm 225 - 227 lbs average and im looking to get up to 230 and when that happens I plan to start cutting. But where do I start? I hear dropping the weight and increasing reps only gives more endurance to the muscle rather than dropping body fat. I heard running for a while starts to deteriorate the muscle because your body goes for leaner sources of fuel(muscle) rather than fat. So what am I supposed to do to drop body fat while maintaining muscle mass or minimizing muscle mass loss? This really has me in a pickle....

Dont do super high reps man.15-20 does work the endurance more IMO.keep the reps between 10-12.Now some definitely disagree here but Ilike to do low intensity cardio.I walk at a decent pace for 45 mins 5 days a week and as high as 2 hrs depending on how close to the show it is.I think this has helped me preserve my muscle mass while losing the fat.Of course you know to adjust your diet accordingly.thats the biggest part of your cut right there
