is there any benefit of using "GRIPS" . I want to purchase grips, is there any thing special while buying?

If you build up your hand grip strength you should be good,. I only use wrist wraps with doing really heavy deads or shrugs..

I find that people use wrist straps too often. I make it a rule that the only time I use them is when doing extremely heavy weight example: I refuse to use them if I am doing less than three plates on the deaflifts, chalk can also help right?

Some gyms don't allow chalk due to the mess it can make.. Check your gym for their policy on chalk..

But yeah if you continously work your grip strength you can get stronger without the wraps.. I can do 3 or 4 reps at 315 on deads before my grip gives out..

Before that I could not do even one. Imagine that huh

if you're wanting to do more complex movements such as cleans then you should definately get straps

The benefit of using wrist wraps is it allows you to use and extreme amount of weight when doing a proper excersize ( like deads or shrugs, either by barbell or dbells), when your hand grip would have given out long before you did any reps.

well said chris, however someone must realize that just because you have wraps, doesn't mean you should load up the bar with more than you can handle. People think oh well my grip is stronger I can lift a ton more, and ill sacrifice form.

right justlift as always you got my back.. You cannot loose focus of what your doing.. basic bodybuilding 101.. use good form and when needed get a spotter.. Common rules so you don't get hurt..
