I have been pondering over my weight training options. I’m a football player (soccer to anyone living in America) which takes up 4 days in a week. The last few months I have been supersetting chest and back (reps 12, 10, 8, 6) alongside shoulders and legs which has saw me receive massive gains but it’s gradually plateauing so I need to change it around a little.

I was leaning towards a chest day supersetted with press ups and back supersetted with shoulders which I have never heard of before but due to the lack of time i have in a week I need to superset one of the 3 main upper body parts and as chest and back is becoming a little monotonous that can’t be continued. Also, I have literally just recovered from a lateral release (knee injury) which means I have to spend a lot of time on my legs so as you can see I’m pushed for space so was wondering if any of you guys had any advice....all ideas are welcome.

I have never tried an all upper body routine either as I have never thought id receive big enough gains as compared to splitting it down.

You could try the programme I just came up with with the help of Zir, heres the thread My new routine. Any thought?

The finished programme is at the bottom, tell me if you think youd be up for using it or not and if not ill try to come up with something else instead.
