Im just wondering where a great source would be to find out as much info on Fitness modeling and how to get that dream body i want for next summer and see where it takes me. I have experience in the modeling world back a few years ago, but then i took up weight lifting and became apart of my life. I dont see my self being the next Jay Cutler but Fitness is my life for sure.
If anyone could help me out that would great!!!

some info on myself, have been lifting for a few years. age 23yr, around 215lb, 6 feet, 10-12%bf, pretty much figure il bulk until a few months before next summer Goal 200lb ripped.

thanks
james

If you're 215 lbs at about 10-12% bf that means that you're at a minimal, 189.2 lbs of lean mass. If you want to get ripped I'd just lower your body fat. I'm pretty sure that 3-4% of fat is essential and protects the organs and such, so you can't get rid of it. If you shoot for a bf goal of 5% you'd lose around 16.34 lbs of fat leaving you at 198.66 lbs and pretty much shredded. Just my two cents.

There really is no difference.

Once you've reached a size you're happy with, you maintain.

However, you have to build that size and shape first. And that uses the same hypertrophy principles as bodybuilding: higher volume, shorter rest periods, 6-12 reps, etc.

I've been at that size for the past couple years, and I maintain about 220 at 5% year round.

I get to have a lot of fun with my training, everything centers on athletic performance and functional strength.

Its an in shape look versus a dipped in iron core look.
