Hey everyone, so I've been training consistently for the last 4 months and I've noticed alot of change. First when I started training, I was completely natural, nothing but eating, and working out. After about a month and a half I started hearing about all the supps, and proteins so I decided to give ON Pro Whey, and some Superpump 250 a try. It worked like a charm, giving me soo much energy, and those extra pumps, made me feel great. After about 2 and a half months I decided to take it up a notch, and started taking more protein, using fish oil, multivitamins,eating wayy more, and started stacking the Superpump with Plasmajet. After like.. 2 weeks of that, I just started getting these horrible stomach aches, shits from another planet, and just couldn't function properly. After all of this I put it all away, and stopped taking everything except for the protein, fish oil, and multivitamin, and ofcourse the food stayed ohh the food!! Anyyways the whole dilemma about my thread, is that now that I'm off everything I can't seem to go up weight or gain any mass, or do anything bigger and better. I just feel like I'm either doing something wronggg, or just wasting my time. It's getting really frustrating because some parts of my body just completely outshine others but when I try to work them they are pumped for like a day then they seem to just die down again.. This probably sounds weird but guys I'm freaking out heree!#$% HELLPP SUGGESTIONS

Try switching up your routine. Maybe even post your diet and some of the nutrition guys can critique it for you. Maybe you're not training enough or over training. There could be a few different things going on here. You just need to post more info for us to go on and not what you have now. Training, diet, height, weight and anything else you feel is important.

gringo is right, more info is needed. you may be overtraining, or just simply need to switch your routine up and do different muscles on different days. try switching rep range. there are endless possibilities bro.

Hey alright ill give some stats maybe that can help.

Height: 5'11
Weight: 157
BF%: 8

My training has been this same split for the last 4 and a half months

Monday: Cardio, Abs+Forearms, Chest, Triceps
Tuesday: Cardio, Abs+Forearms, Back, Biceps
Wednesday: Cardio, Abs+Forearms, Shoulders, Traps
Thursday: Cardio+, Abs+Forearms, Legs
Friday: REST

Ive gone up and down in weight, but not the way I was wanting to or trying to. I kinda just let it go and kept training and lived by what happens, happens (muscle growth wise)

Don't do forearms every day. There's no need to even do them realy. As long as you don;t use wrist wraps you'll work them. And 157 5'11", dude you're a twig. You need to up your calorie intake a bit to put on some mass. I think your problem rests in your diet.

K I dont think I'm a twig, I just need some help to get bigger. I've been going hard for a long time I'm not small for my age, I'm only 17. I have stopped taking everything except protein but I'm thinking of going back on them. I just need some help achieveing more mass and weight.

sorry but 5'11" 157 is skinny. And get yourself some weight gainer that might help. Eat and train and you should grow especially if your 17 since your steaming with testosterone!

Rough bra, very rough.

I was skinny as hell. Calling someone skinny is the same as calling someone fat. It hurts no homo. I was extremely lanky when I first started and when I got serious when people would make any jokes I got depressed.

I believe this dude, he's not skinny probably looks decent; good definition and decent size..all depends on body composition.

I'm 142 lbs and 5'8". Haven't been called skinny since last summer.

Eat like a monster.
Train like a tank.

Forearms and abs are muscles! They need recovery, 2-3x a week MAX if even that.

If you can't gain weight, quit being a pussy and up your calories 1-2k for a while. Food controls weight not supplementation.

There's some motivation man.

This on the other hand, dude thanks. I have been eating like crazy, and taking alot of protein. So I guess ill just up the dosage.
And for the abs and forearms I guess I do need to chill out on those. Thanks alot for the advice.

Check out the bulking primer in the nutrition section, your answer should be in there.

If you're looking to gain weight, up the carbs not the protein. 1g/lb of bodyweight is all that is needed. Whole foods also. Carbs are protein sparing, they're anabolic. Protein is used for synthesis, repair and energy. Minimally in muscle GAIN and weight gain.

Try for 1-2 lbs/wk on a bulk. Keep it lean-ER with some junk if you a hardgainer.

I repeat:

If you take more protein than you need it will be waisted. Converted to either A) Fat or adipose. B) Glucose.
