I intend to go for an extended vacation that could last a week or two where I will not have access to weights. I understand that I will not be able to sustain the same sort of growth that I am privilege to at home as a result of my efforts but I want to try and keep myself from getting atrophied. I suspect that I can do a combination of push ups, planes, leg raises and the like to help maintain my mass. What other sorts of things can I do with just my own body weight and simple things that can be found around? Example: Stairs, chairs and whatever else.

Thanks in advance.

Pull-ups, resistance bands, dips, just stay active. You won't atrophy that much - doubt you will even notice it. Have fun man!

I'm actually leaving for a 2 week vacation this Thursday. I bought these things online called 'Aquabells". They don't go up much in weight (20 pounds), but I'd rather do light sets than nothing at all. I'm still deciding wether to do a circuit, or to do my reps reeeaaally sssslooowww.

Amazon.com: Aqua Bells Combo Set: Health & Personal Care

Look around online for better prices though. Mine costed around 20-25.

I like the bands idea. I think the water filled things are a little too clumsy to bother pursuing for me.

Go the bands for sure. You can do dips on chairs, lunges on steps, pull ups on any free rail or something sturdy above ur head, upside-down shoulder press (if u wanna get that technical, and trust me this one is difficult), you can also do some type of hanging row under some tables and stuff like that.

And its up to you on the high reps or slow reps.
