just wondering if anyone has come across pain down the forearms whenever you squeeze a bar, especially for curls. I myself and a few of my buddies have been noticing the pain a lot more lately.

oh yes sounds like tendonitis I had it bad like the past 2 months, I took it easy on curl excercises and stopped training forearms totally. Now I'm back to normal and easing back to it and staying away from EZ Bars, that's what started it all for me.

I get the pain very easily - and it started with forearm curls for me. I discovered that instead of resting the bar on my knees and curling, holding the bar behind my back and doing it eliminates the pain. Once I switched to that my tendonitis faded away and hasn't come back.

Yeah I used to get it HUGE... With me thou. I changed to a diff bar and it went away, the grip I was using seemed to be causing it. I went to a more narrow grip for a while seemed to go away. Then I went back to a wide grip
but only for a couple sets. seems to have helped me.. Good luck..

Just curious, and only because it's all about the grips that cause it for different people - you said you went narrower with your grip - are you talking about curls?

Yep, when you do bar curls.. closer grip ISo's the lower bi, When your wider it hits the upper.. its basically an standing preacher curl. took the pressure
off my forearms. It worked for me.. you could try it and see how it feels..
with the closer grip the lower bi (Bell) starts to burn earier then with a wider grip... With a EZ-Bar the normal grip is on a slight angle to it works my outter
Forarms.. with a narrow grip it hits the inner.. :) .. so depending on what part of your forearms is hurts.. you could change your grip and see what happens.. straight bar curls hit your whole forarms thats why there harder to do.. thats why i change back and forth between them..

Also with the EZ-bar angle this seems to hit your BRAC's as well to a degree..
I find anyways.. :)

Hope this helps.. Hope its not info overload??? :)

If anyone has a diff opion on these.. plz jump on in.. :)

Don
