This isn't a questions. Just a tip from my experience, i maybe completely wrong about this so im just putting that out there in advance so i dont get flamed for it lol. but....

I've been doing this certain strategy to go up in weights in my lifts over the past 2 months and so far its working great. What ever weight im doing for an excercise, lets say bench press for example. If i was benching 295 8 reps, 3 sets, the next week i would do 295 i would do 295 by ten reps x 3 sets instead. i believe this allows me to get comfortable with the weight and on the third week, i would add on 10 lbs so i would be doing 305 lbs by 4-6 reps by 3 sets. then on the 4th week i would get the 3 sets of 6-8 reps with 305. those arent my numbers its just an axample. i started this 2 months ago at 315 and now at this stage im doing 345 x 6-8 reps, 3 sets.

thats just a theory im working on, so far its working. its been working fine for all other excercises too, bench was just an example. all my weights have been going up. just thought id post what im doing, maybe some of you guys might be interested in trying it.

Yea thats exactly what i do aswell dude! it works great for me aswell!
I had one strenght training experience about a month ago which i think is prety cool.
i had been out from the gym for about 3 weeks due to an injury.
i got back to the gym at the start of the week and all my strenght was gone! i had lost about 30lbs on my bench press, heres what i did to add that 30lbs back to my bench within 2 -3 weeks!
Everday before i would begin working out the muscle i was suposed to work out that day, i would do this.
Shoulder press, 3 sets, 3-6 reps
Bench press, 3 sets 3-6 reps
Close grip bench press 3 sets, 3-6 reps
I would do those three exercises with weights that i could only perform about 4 reps with, before i would start my workout. it worked great and i was able to put the heavy plates back on the bar within 2 weeks! it realy destroyed me tho lol i dont kno iff il do that agen, im very suprised i didnt injure myself lol

Yea I posted a thread about a very similar routine a while back. It is very good but only for short amounts of time, but if you try it for too long you will hit a platue which is very hard to break. I use to use this technique and found it very effective but now im struggling to get a few of my lifts to move.

What about if on the fourth week you or whatever you cycled out and did some dedicated lifting ( high reps and sets of same weight I think ) or would that counteract what you're trying to do?

Sounds like you're on the right track man. Your bench & deads are pretty close to mine. How much are you weighing right now?
