i agree with the rest...my dad got a bowflex...does pretty good but freeweights is a HELL OF A LOT BETTER!

I personally think bowflex would be good for cutting...BUT freeweights are best overall

If by "everyone" you are referring to the models portraying they use bowflex in the commercials, then you are sadly mistaken my friend. It's all cable work, you need more than just cables to build a fit physique.

Get a gym membership. Forget about Blowfex.

How much does a bowflex cost. How much would a weight set, power rack and bench cost.

Weight training has been prooven to work. Bowflex gets the piss taken out of it.

If it was me I would be spending my money on the weight set or join a gym.

parabody sells a great power cage with a built in chin bar you can do anything out of with the addition of a bench, cage is about 600$ and worth every penny.

Just 20 minutes a day, three days a week and you to could have a body like that. LOL. I guess if you had no other option then yeah it would be better then nothing but like said above, free weights are best. And trust me the models on tv didn't get that body from a bowflex and besides I think they're expensive.

i have to say man, the gym is wayy better than a bowflex, if u think about, theres knowledgeable people in gyms, theres tredmills (case u dont have one urself) and the equipment is alot better..remember stick to the basics meaning free weights and basic movements (according to jay this is how he won the 06 & 07 mr olympia becuase he put alot of mass on going back to the basics)

"The Bowflex is so smooth, easy, and fun!" If it's smooth easy and fun, then you're probably not getting any work done. Your money is better spent joining a gym.
