I just did my chest/triceps day with dumbells, flat bench, incline and decline and incline flyes. WOW what a difference...I couldnt loosen my shaker cup lid I was so wore out LOL I reallly liked that work out. Anyvbody else switch up dumbells/barbells? Ive always been told dumbells would make your grip stronger.

Switching it up like that is key. What works for me is going heavier with barbell and lighter with dumbbell. It's harder to keep form when you go heavy on DBs because there's a larger ROM (range of motion) so I try to keep it at the weight that my form isn't effected. Living heavy isn't everything; form is everything.

i don't go much lower than 8 reps with dumbbells
