See what you can lose with a solid calorie intake (probably around 3000kcal for you, yes 3000kcal!) and just the weight training for now.
Add cardio and decrease calories slowly to keep losing bodyfat.
At 31%bf and 243lbs, you've got roughly 75lbs of fat on you. Getting to a lean 10% 186lbs will need shedding of 57lbs of fat. At 1-2lbs per week on average, that's at least 28 weeks. Do you really want to be doing cardio twice a day for 28 weeks?
