I skimmed through it. I am really not a big fan of pre-exhausting. I always try to lift as heavy as I can. Also it is from Muscle Tech and I am so sick of them, with their research and so many freakin ads in all the mags.

I tried a 2 month workout plan w/ pre exhaust super sets and the actually worked pretty good for me, but I never do supersets anymore because it's too easy to overtrain w/ them. Maybe if you've been lifting for 6 months and wanna try something new than it's a good for 8 weeks just to try it out. But that's about all you should do.

I use it for my legs cuz If I started out with squats I got bad pain in my knees....Then I read Lee haney use to pre exhaust his quads, so I gave it a try and its been working pretty well for me..heres the routine lee haney recommended

Leg ext 4 sets of 8 to 12 reps
leg press 4 sets 8 to 10 reps
squats 4 sets 6 to 10 reps
lying hamstring curl 4 sets 8 to 10 reps

Give it a try for something new, you might be surprised

Pre exhaust has its place. I dont think its the best for everybody part, every set, but as far as weak point training or if you just want to toast a muscle group every now and then, I find it works. Its almost a form of just changing up your workout. The Lee Haney leg workout , if adjusted to squats, leg press, exts, and curls, looks very traditional. Cahnging the order of your exercises is never a bad thing.

Pre exhaustion only works when icorporated every so often. The people who do it all the time will run into the difficulties. For people like myself with real long arms, pre-exhaustion with flies every 2nd chest day is a key factor.
