Over the past year my routine involved me training a muscle group only once a week. Ive changed up my routine up every few months. I notice 2 days after i train a group that i could go again.. my question to you guys is that should i be training my muscle groups 2 times a week rather than once?

Some people respond better to twice a week, it's all personal preference because everyone is different. If you feel that you could handle working parts twice a week, then try it for a while. If it doesnt work you could always switch back to once a week.

Then do cardio on weekend and lift during the week. Make sure your diet is SOLID and that you are getting enough calories. Track your progress.

The only way to truly find out is to try it and note your progress.

Sorry dude, wish I could give you a straight "yes" or "no" answer.

a simple way to look at it... training more = employ lower volume. just like DC training in a way. do bare minimum to get growth stimulus then get out of the gym. grow and compensate over the next few days and hit the body part again. you can only try.

I do high volume, that's the only way I grow. You just have to find what works for you.
