So playing hockey, I broke my elbow and now i don't know what to do? can you give me some ideas on what i can do now? should i try and cut 20lbs?

im 260lbs and mabye 240 would be a great thing

How bad is it? What did the doctors say?

Cutting weight might be a good idea to take some pressure off of your arm.

while you are there ask him/her (or a physio) what types of exercise they recommend. some light plyos could be an idea but i think a cut would be a good idea, and it would be good to put a positive spin on ur situation.

Yeah it depends on how bad the arm is and what your doc says. He's the one with 12 years of post-secondary knowledge lol.

Take time off, rest, recover and heal yourself. Life it not over it's just a minor set back..


I had surgery on my elbow, ( granted I hated it) but I healed and I'm back better than ever..

Right on guys, i also had to have surgrey, and will have to have alot of physio to get my movment back, but i think this cut down will give me a better look when i get back to lifting


What kinda diet would be best, low carb, high protien? mabye atkin's style diet?

What diet are you on now? decrease it by 250 to start then adjust it. You can still walk and do cardo and stuff.

I don't know your height/ weight or caloric intake prior to this thread, sorry
