Low cable pulleys for lower chest? do these work?

Hey,
I heard about doing low cable crossovers for the chest. Where you stand in the middle of a cable stack like you are doing cable crossovers , only you position the D shaped handles lower like at knee level and bring them up almost to your chin, are these really good for your lower chest? has anyone tried them? I'm thinking about adding them to mu routine- Thanks

I have seen people bring the to about middle chest or chin level. But remember crossovers are meerly for shaping the chest. If you havent yet achieved the amount of mass you want, I would concentrate more on mass builders like dips and decline bench.

hey they work the upper pecs...many think its for the lower but they r wrong a high pully cable crossovers hits the lower pecs and low pully cable crossovers hits the upper pecs and i read that in muscle and fitness magazine..u can also do hit the middle pecs area by puting the pulley in the middle for cable crossoves...if u dont belive me just go and strech against the wall if u put your hand high u will fell the stretch in the lower pecs and middle is for middle pecs and if u put your hands low u will fell the strech in the upper pecs.....and u can also work your upper pecs from a high pully cable crossovers but u have to really bent over...

yeah i like low cable pulleys a lot they seem to help bring my upper chest to its full pump with a real good stretch

Shaping the chest??? How is that supposed to work Topgun... It's not possible to shape a pec, only to get it bigger. Shape is genetics.

what about the normal one .. the upper crossover ? did it worl the same ?
