Hey guys,

I have been squatting heavy in my full body workout program for awhile now, and I am really happy with my quad size and strength. I am able to squat 130kg, 3x10....and the separation is constantly improving. However, my quads are now really out of proportion with my hamstrings....and I can't get the stubborn bastards to grow. Got any advice/techniques/excercises I could utilise to make my hamstrings grow?

Thanks alot boys

i know i'm young
but i ran into that problem 10 months out from my show and the only change i made was incorporating stiff legs and not only did they come to par, but I'd say they were my strength on stage and a major reason i won. stiff leg deads all the way. FULL stretch. DEEP DEEP DEEP. treat it like a squat.

Sounds good, I'll give SL deads a crack...is the weight generally alot lighter than regular deads? At the moment I have been doing hamstring curls on a machine....but they just don't hit it well enough...I need a mass builder, SL deads look good I gotta say.

Be careful when starting SLDL and work the weight up, You can get some quite bad injuries if you go too heavy. Just work your way up and youll be fine though, i'd also try glute ham raises aswell as SLDL, thatll really hit em hard

Sounds good, never heard of it though. Care to explain 'step ups?'

pretty much take a bench that u'd use for db bench, put a barbell on ur back, and step up on it. alternating feet each time til u get to 10 reps a side.
